Liverpool to move one step closer to the title

After a goalless draw against Everton, Liverpool is seeking to restore its brilliance and the memory of its victories quickly in order to approach an additional step in resolving the Premier League title, absent from its treasures 30 years ago.

Liverpool will once again have the opportunity to come close to their first title in thirty years in the English Football League when they receive Crystal Palace on Wednesday in the 31st stage, which opens Tuesday with two encounters with Leicester City and Tottenham and ends Thursday with a summit meeting between Chelsea and Manchester City.

After he drew a goalless draw in the Merseyside derby against his neighbor and rivals Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, Liverpool settled for only a half step towards the title because it needed two victories for the coronation, regardless of the results of other teams.

The European champions will be 26 or 25 points away from City eight stages before the end, and it will therefore be impossible for the England champion in the past two seasons to catch up with him.
